Bongiorno Books is committed to providing comfort through books to children who lost a parent on September 11th. Hundreds of books have been donated to charities for distribution to the effected families. For the families who lost a Mom, "Where does a Mom's Love Go?" may be picked up at the Family Counseling Center at The Salvation Army Command Center located at 120 West 14th Street in New York. Books have also been donated to Catholic Charities, The Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, and The UJA.

During the week of Father's Day, over 1000 copies of My Dad's Footsteps were delivered to The Salvation Army for distribution to families who lost Dads.

Some copies of "Grandma, does God make mistakes?" are also available and distributed free of charge at the discretion of The Salvation Army.
